PTG Announces New Nationwide Distributor Network for Triform Sheet Hydroforming Presses
SUMMARY: Pryer Technology Group, manufacturer of Triform sheet hydroforming presses, has created a new distribution network serving all 50 states, plus parts of Mexico and Canada.
TULSA, OK (Jan 19, 2012) - Pryer Technology Group recently established a new nationwide network of distributors to offer Triform sheet hydroforming press customers a higher level of personal service. The new distributor network is comprised of nearly 20 experienced machine tool distributors/dealers, covering all 50 states, as well as parts of Mexico and Canada.
"Some of the biggest and best-known equipment manufacturers in the aerospace industry are using Triform sheet hydroforming presses right now," said company President, Scott Pryer. "But without local representation, many companies aren't aware of the benefits Triform presses can provide to their operation. We think our new distributor network will provide a greatly enhanced customer service experience and will help educate the industry on our game-changing presses."
One key benefit the distributor network will provide is the ability to demonstrate the revolutionary capabilities of the Triform sheet hydroforming presses on a local level. Manufacturers from coast to coast will now be able to see first hand the efficiency and quality Triform presses can bring to the aerospace, lighting, medical device and other industries.
The first example of this new regional access is the Pacific Design & Manufacturing Show in Anaheim, California, February 14-16, 2012. Pryer Technology Group's Southern California distributor , TekPro Group, Inc., will be exhibiting at the show and hosting live demonstrations of Triform sheet hydroforming in their booth (#3738).
A variety of both fluid cell and deep draw models are currently offered, including the first tray-style hydroforming presses manufactured in the U.S. in more than 30 years. For more information, call 1-855-864-4670 or visit www.triformpress.com.
PTG Introduces Two New Tray-Style Triform Hydroform Presses
TULSA, OK (Aug 4, 2011) - Pryer Technology Group recently added two new models to its Triform line of sheet hydroforming presses. The two new machines, specifically developed for aircraft parts production, are the first tray-style hydroforming presses manufactured in the United States in more than 30 years.
"The aerospace industry has been waiting a long time for an alternative to the old, outdated sheet hydroforming presses previously manufactured in the U.S.," said Scott Pryer, president of Pryer Technology Group. "We're very excited to offer the added versatility and more cost-effective performance of these new Triform models."
Triform presses use high-pressure hydraulic fluid in a flexible rubber bladder to form sheet metal using a single tool, producing parts in a wide range of complex geometric shapes. The line was developed and launched in 2008 to replace the original sheet hydroforming equipment made in the 1960s and 1970s, which can be plagued by high maintenance costs, frequent downtime and limited availability of replacement parts.
The two new Triform models include the 1648BD, with a 16" x 48" work envelope, and the 2448BD, with a 24" x 48" work envelope. Both presses deliver standard pressure up to 5,000 PSI, with the 1648BD also available in a 10,000 PSI model.
Unlike the legacy hydroforming systems, Triform presses are compact, portable, and the majority of models have no special flooring requirements. Their state-of-the-art hydraulics and advanced touch-screen controls can also improve part quality, while reducing material and labor costs.
Pryer Technology Group currently offers ten different Triform press models, including those equipped with a hydraulic punch cylinder to allow forming of deep drawn parts, with depths up to 13 inches. For more information, call 1-855-864-4670 or visit www.triformpress.com.
